MaxinAI and AWS have become partners. MaxinAI has been implementing several exciting projects based on artificial intelligence since its beginning, and the new partnership with AWS gives it many new opportunities. GEORGIA TODAY spoke with Lika Chkhirodze, the head of project management of the company, to find out more.
“MaxinAI was founded in 2017 to implement projects based on artificial intelligence,” she tells us. The company used machine and in-depth learning technologies and was focused on creating different AI models for our clients. But as software and data engineering, solidity development, and web and mobile app development became more and more relevant on the market, we started working actively in these areas.
“Most importantly for us, the history of MaxinAI is made up of 100+ projects and clients and partners from 11 different countries,” Lika notes.
Tell us about AWS.
AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing service provided by an Amazon subsidiary. AWS includes Infrastructure as a Service (Infrastructure as a service – IaaS), Platform as a Service (Platform as a Service – PaaS), and Software as a Service (Software as a service – SaaS). AWS services can offer the organization tools such as computing power, database storage, and content delivery services.
AWS was the first to introduce a pay-as-you-go cloud computing model that provided users with computing, storage, or throughput.
AWS offers many different tools and solutions for businesses and developers and is utilized in data centers in 190 countries. For example, groups such as government agencies, educational institutions, non-profit and private organizations can use AWS services.
AWS was named among the “Top Fortune 500 enterprises,” More than 90% of Fortune 100 organizations use APN (AWS Partner Network) to provide services and solutions for their customers.
Further, some of the world’s largest brands, such as Facebook, Netflix, Adobe, and BBC, rely on APN.
What is the public demand for AWS?
AWS revenue reached $62 billion in 2021, and it accounts for 50% of the cloud services market. AWS data centers are located worldwide, and millions of clients use their services.
What are your functions and responsibilities in the company?
I started working at MaxinAI one year ago, and I’m currently the Head of Project Management and Lead of the Outsourcing Squad. I have a variety of responsibilities, including communicating with new clients and partners, assembling new teams for projects, defining the Outsourcing team’s directions and goals, project and account management.
How did MaxinAI and AWS become partners?
MaxinAI met all the necessary criteria for a partnership, in particular the requirement that a certain number of employees must have AWS certification. The company also had to have at least three projects in which we would use AWS services, and their cost would exceed $1500;
MaxinAI had to collect those certificates and describe the projects we ran on AWS. In doing so, we passed the verification step and got approval.
How will this new opportunity contribute to the development of the company?
This collaboration allows us to raise awareness of our brand and receive new projects directly from AWS partners and expand our network of partners and potential customers.
What are the plans of the company in this direction?
Our main goal is to attract AWS clients and partners to create new opportunities.
Joining the AWS Partner Network is a new door for MaxinAI that will allow us to enjoy record growth in 2022 and diversify our portfolio.
