The Special Penitentiary Service of Georgia published a statement confirming that convict Mikheil Saakashvili is now back in the №12 penitentiary institution in Rustavi.
“Due to the high public interest, we clarify that on December 30 of this year, convicted/accused Mikheil Saakashvili was transferred from the Giorgi Abramishvili Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense to the №12 penitentiary institution in full compliance with the law,” reads the statement.
