Based on the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Georgian Dream party in Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze is leading among the Tbilisi mayoral candidates.
Giorgi Amilakhvari, the head of the election headquarters of Tbilisi mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze, explained at today’s briefing that 57.9% of respondents support Kakha Kaladze, 27.8% support UNM Leader Nika Melia, and 5.3% support former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
“Kakha Kaladze has a very high chance to win the elections convincingly in the first round,” he said.
Based on the ruling team survey, to the question which candidate would they vote for if the Tbilisi mayoral elections were held tomorrow, the answers were distributed as follows;
Kakha Kaladze – ‘Georgian Dream’ -57.9%
Nikanor Melia – ‘National Movement’ -27.8%
Giorgi Gakharia – ‘For Georgia’ – 5.3%
Ana Bibilashvili – ‘Lelo’ – 2.5%
Giorgi Lomia – ‘Alliance of Patriots’ -2.1%
Ana Dolidze – ‘For the People’ – 1.6%
Tamar Kekenadze – ‘Third Force-Strategy Builder’ -0.6%
Mikheil Kumsishvili – ‘Labor Party’ – 0.5%
1.7% was distributed among other candidates.
The local self-government elections will be held in Georgia on October 2, 2021.
