TBC’s Tribute to Georgia’s Independence Day
Today marks 107 years since the declaration of independence by the First Republic of Georgia. May 26 is a national holiday that TBC has been honoring in unique ways for many years.
In past years, TBC has celebrated Independence Day with creative projects such as animation, radio plays, Independence School, Heroes, and other distinctive initiatives. This year, TBC continues this tradition by sharing a new video to congratulate the public on one of the country’s most important dates.
The journey of independent Georgia has not always been easy for TBC either. Yet, in the face of challenges, TBC has always moved forward—victoriously and stronger at every stage. Throughout its history, TBC has been unwavering and resilient, drawing strength from its victories and self-confidence. Brave in its own right, TBC has always stood alongside those who dare to dream and set goals, big or small; those who take bold steps forward; those who believe that decisive stories begin precisely when you have the courage to believe.
Today is our day—the day of the most determined, the most spirited, and the most independent people—who have insisted for centuries that nothing is impossible when you believe.

Serodani Hotel in Telavi: A Kakhetian Retreat Brought to Life with the Support of TBC
If you think a photo can’t do justice to reality, Serodani Hotel is here to prove you wrong. Here, you won’t need Instagram filters to capture the breathtaking views of the vast vineyards, the Alazani Valley, and the Caucasus Mountains. Photos taken during your stay will be ready to post straight away—no editing required. Yet, the true charm of this place lies beyond the stunning scenery.
Located just a three-minute drive from Telavi, the village of Serodani had been abandoned for a century. The hotel is named after this very location.
A few years ago, brothers Zurab and Zakaria Modebadze breathed new life into the area. They began by surrounding their parents’ wooden house with a solid fence and adding a wine cellar. Then, with their children, they built the hotel complex itself. Their goal was simple but ambitious: to offer guests peace and quiet in the heart of Kakheti—something increasingly rare in the hustle and bustle of city life.
The hotel features six wooden cottages, two outdoor pools, and a traditional Georgian restaurant. Guests can enjoy several varieties of wine from Serodani’s own cellar. Designed to accommodate up to 32 guests, the hotel showcases high-quality, locally sourced wood throughout. Step into any of the cottages, and it’s clear that every detail has been carefully considered.
“There are no insignificant details in this business. When you’re engaging with a guest, every little thing matters. This work demands constant involvement, attention, and care. Here, we treat every guest with the same dedication, ensuring they leave happy and eager to return. In the year and a half we’ve been open, not a single guest has left disappointed. In fact, almost all of them recommend us to others, as confirmed by our reviews on booking platforms,” says Zurab Modebadze.
The hospitality business is a dynamic process, requiring daily dedication to meeting guests’ expectations and perfecting the smallest of details. For Zurab Modebadze, TBC has been a crucial partner in bringing this vision to life.
“I’ve been a loyal TBC customer for over 20 years. Without their preferential agrocredit, I wouldn’t have been able to start this business. I also rely on TBC for my future plans,” Zurab shares.
Serodani continues to grow. Soon, guests will be able to bake traditional Kakhetian shoti bread in the bakery, grill barbecue, make churchkhela, and even distill vodka. But the main feeling that Serodani leaves you with isn’t just the time spent there—it’s the longing to return.

TBC Campus Graduate Saba Kenchishvili: Finding Creativity and Opportunity
TBC Campus is a unique and dynamic educational program that responds to the growing curiosity, desire for continuous development, and determination of young people.
Saba Kenchishvili, a 21-year-old graduate of TBC Campus, shares her experience of studying on campus:
“I study at the Faculty of Architecture at the Eastern European University. At the same time, I am passionate about cinema and actively involved in film projects, working as a cameraman and cinematographer on short films. I am currently working on a new film. My debut film, Ward 222, was selected for international festivals such as the Stockholm City Film Festival, Rome Prisma Film Awards, and the New York Film & Cinematography Awards.
At TBC Campus, I learned how to create advertising content. I wanted to explore my abilities and gain access to modern knowledge and practical experience. The course I took was perfectly aligned with my interests. I am always seeking creative approaches and modern platforms. I learned how to properly plan the creative process, from formulating an idea to realizing it.”
TBC ensures that education is as accessible as possible for young people. Studying on campus is completely free, and the online format allows participation from anywhere in Georgia—so you can learn and create wherever you are.
“The lecturer made an effort to see the potential in each of our ideas and create space for self-expression. I learned from him that a mistake is not a failure, but rather a stage in the creative process.”
A total of 202 participants successfully completed the first cohort of the campus, with some securing jobs and applying the knowledge they gained in practical activities. Currently, 330 young people from all over Georgia are studying in the spring cohort.
To them, Saba offers this advice: “Don’t be afraid of creative experiments. Be honest, free, and boldly turn on the camera.”
Everything will work out for you—the main thing is to believe in your goals. TBC’s educational programs give you the chance to learn wherever you are and to deepen your interests and knowledge as you constantly seek out new innovations.
TBC Concept Supports Nani Bregvadze and Kordz in “Moon” Music Video Premiere
After the release of the first vinyl record and biographical book celebrating Georgian stage legend Nani Bregvadze, a music video for the song “Moon” has been created with the initiative and support of TBC Concept. This collaboration brings together the legendary Nani Bregvadze and the innovative musician Kordz.
The beloved song, composed by Gogi Tsabadze in 1973 for the film Veris Ubnis Melodieb with lyrics by Moris Potskhishvili, has long been an integral part of Nani Bregvadze’s artistic legacy. In the film, Nani’s performance of the song captivated audiences, securing its enduring place in Georgian music.
Aleksandre Kordzaia (Kordz) worked with Nani to breathe new life into this classic song, offering a fresh interpretation that resonates with both long-time fans and new listeners.
“I had the incredible opportunity to work with Nani on one of my favorite Georgian songs, which she first recorded in 1973. The whole process was deeply emotional and significant for me,” shared Aleksandre Kordzaia.
One of the main goals behind creating this new version was to present it in a fresh and relevant way for a new generation, ensuring that this timeless piece of music continues to live on.
TBC to Host International Logistics Exhibition in Tbilisi
On June 19-20, with the support of TBC, the Expo-Georgia exhibition space will host this year’s first international logistics exhibition. Co-organized by Expo-Georgia and consulting firm Savvy, the event aims to promote the development of a strategically important and rapidly growing sector. The exhibition will showcase all key areas of logistics, including sea, land, air, and rail transportation, as well as warehouse infrastructure, digital transformation, and financial mechanisms.
The event will address crucial issues in the industry and create a platform for discussions with stakeholders on existing challenges and opportunities. The logistics exhibition will feature various formats, combining presentations and panel discussions with the participation of international and local financial institutions and companies.
According to TBC Capital research, the transportation and warehousing sector has demonstrated strong growth in recent years, increasing by 14% in 2024 alone, with total output reaching GEL 9.7 billion. As a key sector for economic development, logistics is one of TBC’s top priorities, with funding growing steadily year by year.
“TBC actively promotes the development of the logistics sector: over the past two years, our portfolio in this field has grown by 58% and is projected to reach GEL 400 million by the end of 2024. As the number one supporter of business, TBC considers it crucial to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge in addition to offering banking products, and to support important events like the International Logistics Exhibition,” said Giorgi Darchiashvili, Director of the Large and Medium Corporate Clients Service Department at TBC.
“In recent years, Georgia’s logistics sector has been developing dynamically and has become one of the strategic drivers of the country’s economic growth. This is what prompted us to create an international logistics exhibition and conference, which will become a platform for meetings between private and public sector representatives, international investors, and industry experts. Our goal is to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience, promote innovative approaches, and systematically strengthen the logistics ecosystem in the region,” said Resan Kikava, Executive Director of Expo-Georgia.
