Having evolved into a holding – group of companies York have established Zaha Construction the subsidiary that has taken over the construction and engineering activities.
Mariam Lortkipanidze, an accomplished and highly qualified construction management professional with 10 plus years of experience in the industry, who practically formed the holding’s construction arm and built the team and business from scratch, has been appointed CEO of Zaha Construction.
Ms. Lortkipanidze notes that having York Holding Group as a parent company provides Zaha with significant stability, allowing them to grow and strengthen their position in the construction market, despite the fact that the large scale of their developments constantly presents new challenges. “However, we have never backed down from challenges; we’ve always been ambitious to grow. Our transformation allowed us to mature, while also increasing the scope of the York Holding activities. Nowadays, we offer our clients comprehensive services throughout the whole project cycle including project planning and surveying, design works, pre-construction services, Design-Build construction, construction management, interior design services, etc. We created a completely new, modern brand with a clear vision for the future, vast experience and direction towards honing our standards. We also made sure to select a relevant brand name for the firm. Most of our work at this point goes into benefitting the York Holding Group projects, however, we also do business with third parties, and we are open to negotiate and construct any new projects.”
