UNM Chairman, his fellow party members were verbally and physically confronted during the meeting in Sagarejo

There is tension in Sagarejo, where United National Movement chairman Levan Khabeishvili and party leaders are meeting pensioners.

In particular, members of the National ­Movement were verbally and physically confronted. This is already the second such incident – before, in Kaspi, where Khabeishvili was met by an organized group, a physical confrontation took place.

According to Irakli Nadiradze, a member of the National ­Movement, stones are being thrown in the direction of party members. According to him, the attack on them was organized by Georgian Dream.

“This is an attack on oppositionists organized by SSG, Georgia­n Dream, Russian oligarch Ivanishvili, this is already the second case. They throw stones,” said Irakli Nadiradze.

The police are mobilized on the spot.
