TV advertising revenues in Georgia increased by nearly 42% in 2025, reaching GEL 100 million, the Communications Commission reports.
The report says 72% of television advertising revenue came from three channels: ‘Imedi,’ ‘Rustavi 2,’ and ‘POSTV.’
The food sector led TV advertising spending last year with GEL 27.3 million, followed by the pharmacy sector with GEL 6.2 million and distribution companies with GEL 3 million.
The Commission also reports that radio broadcasters earned GEL 7.7 million from advertising in 2025, down GEL 1.3 million year-on-year.
In radio advertising revenue, Radio Holding ‘Fortuna’ held the largest share at 61.4%. ‘Radio Imedi’ accounted for 8.9%, while Radio ‘Palitra’ held 5%.
