Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Lelo – Strong Georgia party, stated that he would calmly accept any decision made by the court today. Speaking to journalists at the courthouse, he emphasized that he and all patriotic citizens share a common goal: ensuring Georgia remains independent and free, and preventing Bidzina Ivanishvili from seizing control of the country.
“Regardless of today’s court ruling, I am certain that everyone—whether in Georgia or in exile—shares the same mission: to put this country on a path of development, to reclaim our institutions from Bidzina Ivanishvili, and, most importantly, to stop him from handing Georgia over to Russia. This is not about me; it is about securing our nation’s independence, peace, and progress. Whatever the outcome, I will face it calmly,” Khazaradze said.
He also stressed the importance of freedom, democracy, and independence, thanking the public for their support. “I sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out—whether through social media or personal messages. Your support, especially from people I don’t even know, means a lot to me,” he said.
The Tbilisi City Court is set to hear new charges against Khazaradze related to his alleged failure to comply with a request from the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Georgian Parliament.
