Startup Germany Tour 2022

The German Economic Union invites Georgian startups to participate in the START. UP! GERMANY TOUR 2022.

The program and competition are designed for all interested startups that meet the program requirements.

The program / competition invites startups engaged in the following areas:

  • Logistics & Mobility (Logistics & Mobility)
  • Industrial Solutions
  • Green Tech

The START. UP! GERMANY TOUR 2022 consists of four main components: Pre-program, Qualifying stage, International competition and Main program.

Pre-program (June 8 – August 25):

The pre-program is made up of webinars, and everyone can join in (see the appendix). You can register for the webinar via the link: https://www.startupgermany.nrw/pre-program-2022/

Qualifying stage (May 29 – August 5):

An online Pitch Event will be held on June 21, in which 10 selected startups from the submitted applications will participate. From these, the best 5 will be selected.

The 5 lucky startups will leave for Tbilisi on August 4-5. In Baku, they will participate in the joint Georgian-Azerbaijani Pitch Event, where the best Georgian and best Azerbaijani startup will be nominated for the international competition.

International competition (August 29 – September 9):

The best Georgian and Azerbaijani startups will take part in the international final competition in early September and will fight for the final prize. The finalists will be awarded cash prizes: 7,500 Euro (first place), 5,000 Euro (second place) and 2,500 Euro (third place).

Main program (October 23 – 26):

5 Georgian and 5 Azerbaijani startups will be presented in the main program, START. UP! GERMANY TOUR 2022, which will be held in Germany.
