Residential real estate prices increased in the first quarter of 2026, data shared by Geostat shows.
The residential property price index (RPPI) rose by 1.8% compared to the previous quarter, while annual growth reached 3%.
Prices have increased by 62.3% compared to the 2020 average.
The index covers only Tbilisi and reflects the new residential real estate market, including apartments in multi-storey buildings and private houses.
Quarter-on-quarter, prices rose in both segments: apartments increased by 2%, while private houses saw a 1.1% rise.
Year-on-year, prices also grew across both categories, up 3.3% for apartments and 1.8% for private houses.
The RPPI reflects changes in residential property prices and includes newly built and under-construction housing in Tbilisi.
