President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili pardoned 12 convicts.
Four convicts were released from further serving a sentence of imprisonment in a penitentiary institution, and three convicts had their remaining sentences reduced.
The amnesty act of the President of Georgia also affected five convicts whose current sentences were not related to what happened in the penitentiary institution, including two women.
