Electricity has been fully restored across Georgia after a nationwide power outage that affected Tbilisi and other regions of the country overnight.
The Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) confirmed that power supply has now been fully reinstated across the country.
The outage began at approximately 00:10 local time on July 24, leaving large parts of Tbilisi and multiple regions without electricity.
The exact cause of the disruption remains under investigation. State Electrosystem says specialists are working to determine what triggered the outage, and additional information will be released once the investigation is completed.
