“By being actively involved in the vaccination process, we take care not only of our health but also of the health of our family members and relatives,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili during a visit to the Lanchkhuti clinic.

The Prime Minister noted that to maximize the population’s access to vaccinations, mobile medical groups have been set up, which are involved in the vaccination processes as needed.

These groups will coordinate with local municipalities to make the vaccination process accessible to citizens who are unable to use existing vaccination centers.

As the manager of the clinic Eugene Chichua noted, the activity of Georgian citizens has increased, especially during the last week. In Lanchkhuti municipality, in addition to the clinic Medalpha, immunization is underway at the Lanchkhuti Regional Health Center, and mobile brigades have been set up to vaccinate in the surrounding villages.

The Prime Minister added that it is important to continue vaccination at a fast pace, as it is one of the most effective ways to fight the coronavirus.
