PM: US Donated Several Hundred Thousand Doses of Pfizer to Georgia

“Based on the decision of the US Government and the President, several hundred thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine will be donated to Georgia,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said at a briefing at the Government Administration today.

The head of government noted that additional details will be announced as soon as the talks are completed.

“By the decision of the US government and the President himself, several hundred thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine will be donated to Georgia. We will inform our society about it a little later, after passing the final details with our friends and colleagues,” said Irakli Garibashvili.

Today, one million doses of Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines arrived in Georgia.

Mass vaccination will start in Georgia on July 5.
