“Universal vaccination starts in Georgia. The American-German “Pfizer” vaccine is already in Georgia, reported the Ministry of Refugees, Labor, Health and Social Affairs.
At the first stage, citizens will be able to be immunized with Pfizer in 7 medical institutions. The registration will available today, from 15:00, and the vaccination process will start on July 16.
The 2 doses required for Pfizer vaccination are given at 21-28 day intervals. The vaccine will be available for people over 18 years of age.
For safety reasons, Pfizer and “AstraZeneca” vaccination will be available only in clinics.

Under the agreement with Pfizer, Georgia will gradually receive 1,000,350 doses of the vaccine.
