The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Cho Hyundong.
Papuashvili expressed his gratitude to the Korean side for supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia.
The speaker noted, he hopes that the negotiations on the free trade agreement will start soon.
“The deputy minister said that soon there will be direct flights between Korea and Georgia. Besides, we expressed our hope that the embassy of the Republic of Korea will be opened in Georgia soon,” added Papuashvili.
