TBC continues to enhance its Mobilebank with new features designed to make everyday banking simpler, faster, and more convenient. The latest updates make it easier to transfer money to other Georgian banks in foreign currencies, finalize a consumer loan using biometric authentication, and order a Travel Card directly from the app.
Foreign Currency Transfers to Other Georgian Banks
Until now, transferring money from TBC Mobilebank to another Georgian bank was possible only in GEL. Customers can now make transfers in foreign currencies using the recipient’s account number (IBAN).
Previously, making a foreign currency transfer of this type required a visit to a TBC branch or assistance from a personal banker. With the new functionality, customers can complete the process in just a few minutes through the “Transfer to Someone Else” feature in Mobilebank.
Faster Consumer Loan Agreements with Biometric Authentication
TBC has also made it even easier to finalize a fast consumer loan. Customers can now confirm their loan agreement not only with a one-time code, but also using Face ID or fingerprint authentication.
Biometric authentication allows customers to:
- confirm the agreement without entering a code;
- benefit from an additional layer of security;
- complete the process faster and more conveniently; and
- finalize their loan in just a few seconds.
Travel Card Now Available Directly Through Mobilebank
Customers subscribed to the Concept 360 package who have never previously had a Travel Card can now order one directly through TBC Mobilebank.
The offer is available on the Product Activation page, under the Cards & Accounts section. There is no longer any need to visit a branch or contact a banker. Customers can submit their application remotely and have the card delivered to their preferred address through the postal service, allowing them to start using its benefits with ease.
