Mikheil Saakashvili Expresses Readiness to be Transferred to Vivamedi Clinic for Examination

Koba Nakopia, a member of the United National Movement, says the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has consented to be transferred to the Vivamedi clinic for examination.

He told reporters at the Rustavi Penitentiary No. 12 that Saakashvili was made a relevant offer today, but he had a scheduled meeting with family members today, so he will probably be transferred to the examination center in the coming days.

“Mikheil Saakashvili confirmed to the representatives of the Penitentiary Service that he is ready to be transferred for examination tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and in the following days. But he could not go there today because he has a meeting with his family,” said Nakopia.

The Ministry of Justice offered the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili to be transferred to  Clinic Vivamedi. The relevant statement was made by the Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze after the Government session.
