The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that Gela Khasaia, a member of the Girchi – More Freedom party, has been arrested on charges of intentional infliction of minor bodily harm. Another individual was also detained in connection with the case.
Based on the investigation, the two suspects—identified as G.Kh., born in 1997, and V.K., born in 1998—assaulted R.Kh., a man born in 1975, during a dispute, causing multiple injuries before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to a clinic, where he received medical care.
Law enforcement officers from the Old Tbilisi Main Division detained both suspects following operational and investigative measures. The case is being investigated under Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which carries a maximum penalty of up to three years in prison.
