The Working Group set up in view of the Enhancement of Countering Organized Crime discussed the remedies against drug crimes.
The representatives of the state agencies, the competencies of which enclose the curbing of drug crimes, introduced their opinions and proposals.
“At the meeting, we discussed the situation in curbing drug crimes and the challenges in this sphere. The Group members agreed on the proposals and steps to be taken and implemented in view to further improve the efficiency of activity in this direction,” the Head of the Group, Irakli Beraia stated.
The Group, set up in view of the fulfillment of the 6th paragraph of the EU recommendations, is composed of the Majority MPs and part of the opposition political groups.
