The Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport observed a passenger traffic record 415% hike in October year-on-year. The number of flights carried out from the airport also increased by 325%.
The Airports Union of Georgia reports that 164,176 passengers used Kutaisi Airport compared to 31,898 in 2022.
From December 2023, Kutaisi International Airport will add a fourth Kutaisi-based Wizz Air aircraft and a Copenhagen route.
Five air companies operate from Kutaisi International Airport at this stage, flying to 35 destinations in 18 countries.
