The Italian literary magazine ‘clanDestino’ has published a translation of a new poem by renowned Georgian poet Dato Magradze, further introducing his work to an international audience.
The poem, titled ‘Formula,’ was translated into Italian by Luigi Magarotto and Gaga Shurgaia. In an editorial note accompanying the publication, ‘clanDestino’ describes the poem as bold and emotionally charged.
The magazine stated that the poem addresses a moment in European history that has not coincidentally turned into a stage for war and powerlessness. The editors also note that the publication serves as a symbolic gesture of friendship between two cultures united by a shared appreciation of beauty and wine.
