In January 2024, the economy of Georgia grew by 5.8%

According to GEOSTAT, in January 2024, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 5.8 percent in the direction of construction, financial and insurance activities, information and communication.

A decrease was in the direction of trade, real estate-related activities and manufacturing industry.
