A session of the Holy Synod of the Georgian Orthodox Church will be held on April 28 at 12:00 at the Georgian Patriarchate.
The Patriarchate’s Public Relations Service announced that the Synod is expected to select three candidates for the position of patriarchal locum tenens.
The upcoming session is anticipated to draw significant public attention, as decisions made by the Holy Synod traditionally play a key role in the governance and future direction of the Georgian Orthodox Church.
