Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are carrying out a “special operation aimed at exposing a criminal organization.”
NABU issued a brief statement on the morning of August 19, saying the organization was operating under the leadership of current and former members of parliament, with the involvement of officials from the Presidential Office and other individuals.
Ukrainska Pravda reports that searches are being conducted at the premises of Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and lawmaker Vadym Stolar, who was elected to parliament from the now-banned Opposition Platform – For Life party.
Details of the case remain unknown.

Among those already charged with money laundering is Andriy Yermak, former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who was granted bail as a preventive measure by a court in May 2026.
