Gov’t signs agreement with Jan De Nul for Anaklia Port construction

The government has signed an agreement with the Belgian Company Jan De Nul within the framework of the Anaklia Port construction project.

Jan De Nul Group is a Belgian company which has financial headquarters in Luxembourg. It provides services related to the maintenance and construction of maritime infrastructure on the international basis.

“Anaklia deep-water port is a strategic project for Georgia, which will play an important role in the development of the port infrastructure of the country, as well as in the infrastructural improvement of the entire middle corridor and increase of competitiveness,” the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development said.
