The National Statistics Office of Georgia has published its new report about economic growth in 2023. According to GEOSTAT’s new estimate, the economy of Georgia grew by 7.5% instead of 7% in the previous year.
It should also be noted that according to the preliminary data of last year, the GDP per person before the recalculation is 8 112 billion GEL, and after it is 8 170 billion GEL.
Moreover, GEOSTAT’s preliminary data of 2023 states that in current prices, before recalculation, the volume of GDP is 79.7 billion GEL, and after recalculation it is 80.2 billion GEL.
