Express data from Geostat shows that Georgia’s exports increased by 15% in May compared to the same period last year, reaching 668.5 million dollars. Imports also rose by 5% over the same period, totaling 1.56 billion dollars.
In January-May, Georgia’s exports amounted to 3.1 billion dollars, marking a 19.8% increase year-on-year. Imports during the same period stood at 7.33 billion dollars, down 1.9%.
The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia says a record volume of exports and trade turnover was recorded in 2025.
Exports increased by 11.2% in 2025, reaching 7.3 billion US dollars, while total trade turnover rose by 10.5% to 25.9 billion US dollars.
