As the U.S. remains one of the most profitable markets for Georgian wine, the National Wine Agency of Georgia has partnered with American marketing firm Colangelo Partners to extend Georgia’s wine presence in the American market. The company has been working with the National Wine Agency since 2022 and, through the collaboration, exports of Georgian wine to the U.S. have grown noticeably, reaching 1.2 million liters in 2024.

As the agency stated, a new promotional campaign, financed by the National Wine Agency, is underway and will be out this year. The initiative’s goal is to increase demand and sales through targeted marketing, trade outreach, and consumer engagement.

“This campaign will enhance consumer-focused events and broaden awareness of Georgian wine among American audiences,” the agency stated.

In the scope of the project, tasting seminars took place across different U.S. cities, giving professionals the opportunity to experience Georgian wine firsthand. The campaign will also include participation in international exhibitions, targeted advertising, and tours to Georgia for journalists, sommeliers, and sales professionals.
