Georgia is in talks regarding its integration into the European audiovisual industry, as Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze prepares to sign a new international convention in Lille.
The Ministry of Culture of Georgia stated that the agreement, developed with the Council of Europe, focuses on the co-production of audiovisual works in series format.
The convention is expected to expand opportunities for Georgian production companies by facilitating access to foreign investment, enabling participation in large-scale international projects.
Officials say the move will support the development of Georgia’s creative industries while increasing the global visibility of Georgian culture.
