Georgia is actively gearing up for the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), scheduled to take place in Tbilisi from May 2 through May 5.
Deputy Minister of Finance Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili and Director of the Permanent Representation of the Asian Development Bank Lesley Bearman Lahm convened a meeting with representatives from the embassies of member countries of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Georgia.
The objective of the gathering, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was to exchange information regarding the planned events for the Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank.
During discussions with diplomats, the officials reiterated the significance of hosting such a large-scale event in Georgia.
Approximately 4000 guests from 68 countries are expected to participate in the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank. This includes the President of the Asian Development Bank, Vice-Presidents, Executive Directors of the Bank, representatives from international financial institutions (IFI), the private sector, international and civil society organizations, as well as international and local media.
