With the support of TBC Business, Georgia’s first YouTube-based business show, Punchline Profit, is set to launch soon on the platform.
Punchline Profit introduces completely new format to the local media landscape, offering a fresh take on business challenges, difficulties, and fears through honest dialogue and humor. The show aims to normalize conversations around real entrepreneurial struggles while making business topics more accessible and engaging.
The project is initiated by media company Shark Media, with TBC Business as the main partner and Visa as a supporting partner. The initiative seeks to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurial education among businesses operating in Georgia, delivering insights in a simple and distinctive format.
New episodes of Punchline Profit—featuring engaging hosts and guest participants, whose identities will be revealed soon—will be released monthly. Each episode will consist of three key segments:
- Discussion – hosts and guest co-hosts will share their experiences and entertaining stories around business topics;
- Business Therapy – business representatives will openly discuss real challenges, followed by analysis of these issues, including through humor;
- Solution Search – participating businesses will receive non-financial support tailored to their needs, such as access to relevant contacts, expertise, or new opportunities.
“In today’s reality, many business professionals face specific challenges or needs but don’t know where to ask questions, whom to seek advice from, or where to find support. At the same time, the dominance of success stories has made it somewhat uncomfortable to talk about difficulties. Punchline Profit breaks this stereotype by introducing a new approach—discussing business challenges through humor and honest dialogue. In each episode, entrepreneurs openly talk about real problems, mistakes, and fears, ask questions freely, seek support, share experiences, and receive feedback from the hosts in an interactive format,” said David Baghashvili, Founder of Shark Media.
“TBC Business is the number one supporter of businesses at every stage of their development—whether they are facing new challenges or celebrating success. The entrepreneurial journey is often filled with difficulties, and in this process, belief is crucial—belief in your business, your goals, and your partners. By supporting Punchline Profit, we aim to further strengthen this belief among businesses and boost their confidence. No matter how difficult the current moment may seem, what matters most is believing that nothing is impossible and that success is on the way,” said Natia Pachikashvili, Head of Small and Medium Business at TBC.
“Visa actively contributes to the development of the business ecosystem in Georgia. By supporting Punchline Profit, we are both empowering Georgian businesses and creating a dynamic platform for sharing best practices and knowledge. With its creative format, the project will focus on the growth of entrepreneurs. We are pleased that Visa is part of this new and exciting initiative,” said Diana Kiguradze, Visa Regional Manager for the Caucasus and Moldova.
In addition to YouTube, Punchline Profit episodes and related content will also be available across other online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
