In the first quarter of 2026, Georgia exported 2,800 tons of bay leaves worth $12.1 million.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia says exports increased by 86% (1,300 tons) compared to the same period in 2025, while the value rose by 80% ($5.4 million).
The main export markets were China with 2,800 tons and Russia with 300 tons.
