The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) says it has found that “Isurve” LLC engaged in unfair commercial practices after reviewing 78 consumer complaints.
The agency reports that consumers’ evidence showed the trader systematically failed to meet delivery deadlines for purchased goods. It also found that, in cases of order cancellation, refunds were delayed beyond a reasonable period.
The investigation further identified breaches of contractual obligations related to the delivery of goods agreed between the parties.
The GCCA concluded that the company’s conduct amounts to a misleading commercial practice by action, in violation of fair trading principles and to the material detriment of a group of consumers.
In its decision, the agency also set a maximum refund period, stating that reimbursements after order cancellation must not exceed 14 calendar days, and any delay beyond this limit is considered unjustified.
The regulator ordered “Isurve” to end the infringement within one month, restore the rights of affected consumers, and ensure full compliance with consumer protection rules.
Under Georgian law, failure to comply with the GCCA’s decision within the deadline may result in a fine of up to 2% of the trader’s annual turnover. Repeated violations within 12 months would double the penalty.
