The Elene Akhvlediani House Museum in Tbilisi has reopened after a major restoration supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports with a budget of GEL 376,180.
The initiative fully enhanced the entire space with upgraded heating, cooling, lighting, storage facilities, and utility systems that meet museum standards. Akhvlediani’s home and working environments have been recreated to accurately match the original atmosphere, while professionals restored over 100 artworks and 44 paintings. Distinctive items such as a 19th-century Georgian tablecloth and Akhvlediani’s furniture have been safely preserved.
The museum plans to keep Akhvlediani’s own traditions and host culture-related events within its walls.
Address: Leo Kiacheli St. N12.
