Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 373 New Cases, 14 Deaths

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 373 New Cases, 14 Deaths

Georgia reported 373 coronavirus cases, 542 recoveries, and 14 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.

34,933 tests were performed in 24 hours.

Testing revealed that Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 177 Covid-19 cases, followed by the Imereti region with 47 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 41 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1,07 %, and 1,76 % over the past week.

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country has reached 270,510, of which 264,589 people recovered and 3499 have died.

Currently, there are 2422 active cases of infection in the country.
