Ambassador Carl Hartzell has completed his diplomatic posting to Georgia after four years as the European Union’s highest representative in the country.
Carl Hartzell was appointed the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia in September 2018.
“After four unforgettable years in Georgia, the time has come for us to leave. Thanks for having invited us to be a part of Georgia. Georgia will always be a part of us,” Hartzell said in his farewell video with his spouse, Mette Hartzell, to the people of Georgia.
