Missing in Tbilisi – The search for Dati Gavasheli goes on

A young man, Dati Gavasheli, is missing in Tbilisi. According to the information of his friends, he was last seen near Wendy’s in the area of Dighomi with his dog.

He was seen walking in a black hoodie at 3am, and was no longer with the dog, which was today found alive and well without his owner.

Gavasheli’s wife has written on social media that they have been searching for Dati since 17:00 on January 15 without success. The authorities have been informed and Agmashenebeli Alley is being searched.

“My husband Dati Gavasheli went missing at 5 o’clock yesterday. Please help me, every minute counts!” Dati’s wife Liza Karashvili wrote. “He is very thinly dressed and has been on the street for [over] 17 hours. He was last seen at 3 o’clock in the night in the Digmomi area. We are looking for anyhing. If you notice someone, call me at 591000220. Please help me. You are our only hope because the police can’t give us hope and it’s been a long time.”
