TBC Concept Gallery Presents “We Are Seekers” — A Joint Exhibition by David Meskhi and Tony Just

TBC Concept Gallery  invites you to the opening of We Are Seekers, a collaborative exhibition by David Meskhi and Tony Just, curated by LC Queisser Gallery.
Opening event: November 14, 18:00–20:00
Exhibition dates: November 14, 2025 – February 5, 2026

“The works I am presenting at TBC Concept Gallery were created in Berlin over the past year. They are rooted in drawings, memories, and accidents.” — Tony Just

“A seeker is someone who searches and observes. This exhibition allowed me to rethink my approach to image-making. I arrived at this body of work through a search for change — not for a single image, but for a collection of works that evoke a sense of uncertainty.
The athletes are depicted beyond the gymnastics mat, detached from their original meaning and environment. These images are manipulated both physically and digitally.
It feels as though I am moving toward the shadow of something not yet fully visible — a space where presence and absence coexist.” — David Meskhi

About the Artists
Tony Just is an American visual artist who has lived and worked in Berlin, Germany, for the past 17 years. His works have been exhibited internationally. In 2021–2022, he participated in a Tbilisi-based residency program sponsored by Propaganda and taught at the Visual Art, Architecture, and Design School (VA[A]DS) of Free University of Tbilisi. During his stay, he presented a book and mural exhibition at Kona Books, curated by Nina Akhvlediani. His work was also featured in the group exhibition Sanctuary at LC Queisser.

David Meskhi, born in 1979 in Tbilisi, grew up in a sporting family — his father was a coach for the USSR national gymnastics team. He holds degrees in photography and cinematography from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University in Tbilisi.
In 2015, he co-directed the award-winning documentary When the Earth Seems to Be Light, exploring the disillusionment of Georgian youth. His first solo museum exhibition was held in 2024 at the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole (MAMC+) in France.

Location: 7 Marjanishvili Street, TBC Concept Multifunctional Space
Opening hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00–20:00

TBC Business Award Winner “Vintylator”: Blowing the Wind Toward a Greener Future

A style once left in the past often finds its way back—this time as a symbol of individuality and self-expression.

Before vintage stores became trendy in Georgia, many of us referred to them dismissively as “old clothes,” and buying secondhand was something people who lived through the dark 1990s found embarrassing.

Changing this perception became Shoko Chachua’s mission when, in 2018, she opened a vintage clothing store. Fashion itself wasn’t her main drive—she had simply loved dressing differently since childhood.

She didn’t start with a fully formed concept, but one thing was clear: she wanted to show that giving secondhand clothes a new life isn’t about poverty or saving money—it’s a conscious choice made by socially responsible people. A well-known graffiti artist and friend, Gameza, even “gifted” her the brand name — and that’s how Vintylator was born.

“We’re blowing toward a greener future. This is a movement we invest a lot of energy in,” says Shoko. “Our brand is built on values of waste reduction, environmental care, and social responsibility.”
She prefers being called the creator of Vintylator rather than its founder.

Since 2018, Shoko has not only built a brand but also held a series of awareness-raising workshops. A look at Vintylator’s social media pages shows that the focus goes far beyond selling clothes—it’s about highlighting the harmful impact of fast fashion.

The fashion industry is one of the world’s most polluting: it consumes enormous amounts of water, uses toxic chemicals, and generates millions of tons of waste. The global movement against fast fashion grows stronger every day.

“Gen Z approaches secondhand clothing more consciously,” Shoko notes. “For them, it’s both an environmental choice and a way to express individuality. I see more and more people around me choosing to give old clothes a new life.”

She fondly recalls her recent meeting with school students in Poti, sharing the joy of seeing awareness take root in the younger generation.

Vintylator has also taken on a parallel mission—to help develop the vintage market itself. The team supported several employees in developing their own store concepts, and today, there are already around 15 affiliated vintage shops.

What started as a small 17 m² space has grown into a green movement, earning Vintylator the 2025 TBC Business Award in the “Promotion of Green Initiatives” category.

Soon, Vintylator will launch a new multimedia website, where visitors can explore inspiring content and practical sustainability tips.

Success is on the way—just believe in it!

TBC’s Gogutsa Gelashvili Wins Prestigious Info-Tech Award for Women Leaders in IT

Gogutsa Gelashvili, Head of TBC’s Platform Systems League, has been named a winner of the prestigious Info-Tech Awards in the category “Women Leaders in IT.”

This award recognizes female leaders around the world who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of the IT sector — professionals whose strong leadership qualities help drive transformation across their organizations and industries.

The Info-Tech Awards honor leaders who align technological initiatives with business objectives, foster innovation, and uphold high standards in decision-making.

This year’s winners were selected from among hundreds of candidates representing various countries.

“This category celebrates the achievements of women whose vision and leadership are creating measurable progress in innovation, inclusion, and organizational performance.
I congratulate all this year’s winners who, through strategic leadership, are strengthening their organizations and paving the way for the next generation of IT leaders. Each of them is a powerful example of how inclusive leadership shapes the future of technology,”
said Tom Zehren, Executive Officer of Info-Tech Research Group.

Gogutsa Gelashvili shared her thoughts following the award:

“My advice to the next generation of women leaders is to give your all to your work and find courage within yourself. To become a strong leader, you must overcome many challenges and failures — don’t fear them, see them as valuable experiences.
Above all, believe in your own abilities. Once you do that, others will believe in you too — and then, the impossible will become possible.”

The award organizer, Info-Tech Research Group, is a global leader in research and consulting, with over 30 years of experience and more than 30,000 international clients.

City Management Group – a Cleaning and Facility Services Company Developed with the Support of TBC Business

City Management Group is one of the companies that has earned a leading position in the market through years of experience, professionalism, and reliability. Founded in 2012 as a cleaning services provider, the company initially served various organizations and businesses.

Practice, along with growing market demand, opened new opportunities — this marked the beginning of City Management Group’s transformation into a full-scale management company.

“The idea for a cleaning service came from my friend, and that’s how we started. Our first experience proved quite successful, so we decided to continue the business on a larger scale. Today, City Management Group provides outsourced cleaning services to around 50 major companies and 26 residential complexes, ensuring thousands of residents receive high-quality and well-organized service,” says Nika Jorbenadze, founder of City Management Group.

Since 2017, the company has significantly expanded its operations. In addition to offering full cleaning services — including general and post-renovation cleaning for both individuals and businesses — City Management Group added residential complex management to its portfolio. This includes security, technical support, elevator and pool maintenance, upkeep of common areas, and other essential services.

According to Nika, the company’s greatest strength is its experience. “We were probably among the first to offer residential complex management services in Georgia. I believe reliability is one of our key advantages.”

TBC has also played an important role in the company’s development. As Nika notes, TBC’s payroll services and credit line provide major convenience, especially by ensuring a stable financial cycle — employees receive their salaries on time, while the company can run its operations smoothly and without interruption.

Today, City Management Group operates through an extensive network across Tbilisi and maintains a smaller but steadily growing presence in Batumi. The company’s main goal remains unchanged — to continue developing, enhance service quality, and become a trusted partner for even more residential complexes.
