President of Georgia on Official Visit to Northern Macedonia

President: We’re Still Losing Time in Endless Controversy & Polarization

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili will pay an official visit to Northern Macedonia on May 10. Reports the President’s press service.

During the visit, meetings are scheduled with senior officials of the Republic of Northern Macedonia: President Stevo Pendarovski, President of the National Assembly Talat Xhaferi, and First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi.

The official welcoming ceremony of the President of Georgia will be held at the Villa Vodno Palace. During the official visit, two documents will be signed – the Agreement between the Governments of Georgia and the Republic of Northern Macedonia exemption from the Obligation to Obtain a Visa and the Memorandum on Cultural Cooperation with the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

After the signing of the documents, joint statements of the President of Georgia and the President of the Republic of Northern Macedonia to the press are planned. The President is also going to meet with Georgian athletes and representatives of the cultural sphere working in northern Macedonia.

The official visit of the President to Northern Macedonia will end on May 11.
