In Tbilisi, on Tvalchrelidze Street, where an eviction process is underway, three individuals were reportedly detained.
Their protest was triggered by the arrival of a moving truck, which they attempted to block from entering the residential building. Police instructed them to vacate the area, but after resistance, three individuals were placed into a patrol vehicle and removed from the site. It remains unclear whether they were officially detained or simply escorted away.
Tensions continue on the scene, with clashes and loud exchanges between residents and law enforcement.
The presence of patrol police sparked repeated protests and unrest among the residents.
The National Bureau of Enforcement has issued a statement, explaining that the buildings in question are fully deteriorated and pose a threat to the health and safety of residents. This assessment, they say, is supported by an expert report from the Samkharauli Forensic Bureau.
