Georgian Dream’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vakhtang Gomelauri has, along with other police officials, been awarded the Order of Honor for their exceptional contribution to strengthening law and order.
The Order of Honor was presented to them by Mikheil Kavelashvili upon the joint nomination of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
The award ceremony was held at Atoneli Palace.
Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated the police officials on their receiving the Georgian state award and thanked them for their service to the country.
