Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, a player of Valencia and the Georgian National Football Team, ranked third in the Federation of Football History and Statistics as a male goalkeeper.
Mamardashvili, securing 55 points, was acknowledged alongside such prominent players like Gianluigi Donnarumma, Unai Simon, and Emiliano Martinez, the winner of the title.
Mamardashvili’s outstanding performances during the UEFA Euro 2024, where he played a significant role in Georgia’s reaching the round of 16, grabbed the attention of Liverpool FC, who signed him for the 2025-26 season. Among his achievements is also a spot in CIES Football Observatory’s list of top under-25 goalkeepers.
