Driving Georgian Tourism: Insights from Nina Gachechiladze, Commercial Director of Inn Hospitality

Inn Hospitality, one of the leading hospitality management companies of Georgia, has reshaped the industry standards through modern strategies and a deep commitment to the development of those regions where their services are based. The company is dedicated to increase Georgia’s tourism appeal while utilizing sustainable practices in hospitality management. In the following interview, Nina Gachechiladze, Inn Hospitality’s Commercial Director, discusses company’s vision, future-oriented practices, and contributions to Georgia’s growing tourism sector.

Tell us about the inspiration and vision behind Inn Hospitality.

Hospitality management involves a variety of complex processes, and it’s essential to consider both internal and external factors. The inspiration behind Inn Hospitality was to address the challenges within the sector head-on, by developing intentional and effective strategies that drive success.

Tell us about your ambitions regarding contributions to Georgia’s developing tourism sector.

Our primary marketing and PR strategy focuses on highlighting the uniqueness of the regions where our hotels are located. To do this, we’ve produced a series of commercial videos that showcase the distinct characteristics of each area to our target audience. Additionally, we offer tailored sightseeing tours that not only raise awareness about these regions but also increase visitors’ overall satisfaction.

You seek to utilize highly efficient managerial practices. Can you tell us about the unique methods you employ in the management process?

Every business requires a tailored approach, with strategies suited to its unique needs. For us, it started with identifying those needs and implementing practices that directly address them. The distinctive feature of our team lies in our focus on growth-oriented business plans, which consistently bring the desired outcomes.

How do you ensure quality communication with high-profile clients, such as investors and tourism agencies?

As one of the leading management companies in the market, we prioritize transparency and meticulous organization. We always take into account the interests and vision of all parties involved, while staying grounded in objective reality. This approach ensures that long-term plans are effectively structured, fostering healthy and productive communication.

Do you follow sector trends? What strategies do you use to adapt to those trends?

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, particularly in the digital space, is essential today. Our team leverages a wide range of tools to gather accurate, timely information, which we then transform into actionable strategies for the business.

Tell us about the HR selection process and how you encourage development among your team.

We follow a standard recruitment process, but what sets us apart is our commitment to supporting talented young people. We provide opportunities for professional growth through training and educational activities. Given that most of our hotels are located in various regions of the country, we prioritize hiring local talent, which in turn contributes to regional economic development. Additionally, we’ve signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), ensuring we meet international standards for gender equality.

Tell us about the positive impact the company has had on Georgian hospitality and, more broadly, on the tourism sector.

Healthy competition is essential for driving market growth, and we believe it has a positive effect on the overall value of the hospitality sector. By promoting specific tourist destinations to a variety of demographic groups, we help attract more visitors to Georgia, contributing to the country’s tourism growth.

Tell us about your future plans.

Looking ahead, we plan to continue offering our existing products and services, but in even more advanced forms. We also have exciting new projects in the works, which we will be unveiling to the public soon.
