In Tbilisi, the participants of the rally ‘Georgia chooses the European Union’ have completed their march along Rustaveli Avenue and have reached Freedom Square.
The main focus of the march is to show the citizens’ support towards Georgia’s European aspirations.
They have with them flags of the European Union, numerous banners, including one with the inscription “Georgia chooses the European Union,” and posters with various contents supporting the European Union.
A stage has been set up on Freedom Square where speeches and appearances from Georgian singers are planned. The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, is expected to address the crowd.
