The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has rehabilitated a 21-kilometer route from Ozurgeti to Gomismta, reducing travel time to 45 minutes. The upgraded road is said to meet modern safety and comfort standards.
Minister Irakli Karseladze inspected the project, noting that problematic landslide sections had been stabilized, with one area still under monitoring.
