TBC Tech School has more than 1200 participants

TBC Tech School with over 1200 participants, offers fully funded tech education for high school students across Georgia, focusing on various tech disciplines like UI/UX design, web programming, graphic design, game development, chatbots, and mobile apps. Established in 2023, it aims to nurture the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Testimonials from students like Ana Barashvili and Levan Gogua highlight the program’s impact on their career goals. Elene Samsiani praises TBC for providing a convenient platform, Figma, for UI/UX design learning. TBC plans to expand its courses to include 9th to 12th graders starting in 2024, continuing to support and promote tech education.

Pizza Hut Makes Grand Opening with Key Support from “TBC Leasing”

TBC Leasing supported the opening of a Pizza Hut branch in Tbilisi, marking strategic franchise expansion. The ambitious Georgian goals include 12 branches in the medium term, emphasizing trust in the local market and the aspiration to lead in pizza dining. The new Tbilisi branch aims to connect a global brand with the local community, providing a space for families, friends, and pizza enthusiasts. Beyond restaurant expansion, the focus remains on delivering a delightful culinary experience and menu innovation. TBC Leasing sees supporting international brands like Pizza Hut as crucial for economic growth in Georgia. They offer easy financing for businesses seeking assets in various sectors, including manufacturing and catering.

Impact Hub Tbilisi startup pre-accelerator demo day

Impact Hub Tbilisi hosted a startup pre-accelerator demo day, organized to showcase 21 local tech startups’ 12 weeks of intense work to investors. The program aimed to enhance startups’ ability to attract investment and offer early-stage investment opportunities for investors. Following the pre-acceleration, 9 startups received further training in Tallinn from Startup Wise Guys, a successful accelerator. The demo day featured presentations from these startups seeking additional funding and expansion.

Participating Startups:

Helio.AI: Smart recruiting system using gamification.

KidNest: App connecting educational institutions and parents.

Gakvetilo.ge: Non-formal education platform for 11-17 year olds.

Bitpulse: Platform for early identification of cryptocurrency exchange rate changes.

TourTour: Digital platform for planning travel tours.

Wenroll: Interactive mobile app for master classes.

Connect.: Marketplace simplifying acquisition and payment of medical tourism and related services.

Wisp: Literacy and sign language learning app for deaf people.

Roommate Georgia: Affordable apartments for students, secure rentals for landlords.

The startup pre-accelerator, founded in 2021 by Impact Hub Tbilisi, has engaged 81 startups over four streams, securing over 1.5 million euros in investment/grants. Notable successes include Stori, Wempler, Lawformer, Upway, SOS Auto, Tasteit, Wowchy, and Neuropilot. Co-founder Keti Ebanoidze highlighted the valuable partnership with Startup Wise Guys, while Anka Totibadze from TBC praised the project’s role in supporting technological startups’ development and investment attraction.
