In the months of January-June, the import of gasoline and diesel fuel increased. Union of importers reports about oil products.
In particular, during the months of January-June 2023, the import of gasoline and diesel fuel in Georgia amounted to 554.2 million tons, which is 32.5 small tons or 6.2% more than the indicator of the same period last year (521.7 million tons).
Among them, during the first 6 months of 2023, the import of gasoline fuel amounted to 273.7 thousand tons, and the import of diesel fuel – 280.5 thousand tons.
According to the categories, during the months of January-June 2023, the import of gasoline fuel amounted to the following: A-91 regular type gasoline – 166.6 thousand tons (60.9%); A-95 premium gasoline – 101.6 thousand tons (37.1%); A-98 super gasoline – 5.5 thousand tons (2.0%);
During the months of January-June of this year, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel was imported from Russia – 449.5 thousand tons, which is 81.1% of the total import. Then they come Romania – 77.6 thousand tons – 14%; Turkmenistan – 11.4 thousand tons – 2%; Azerbaijan – 9.5 thousand tons – 1.7%; Belarus – 5 thousand tons – 0.9%; United Arab Emirates – 1 thousand tons – 0.2%; Ukraine – 0.1 thousand tons – 0.02%; Bulgaria – 0.1 thousand tons – 0.02%.
