1965 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 50 people have died, 3996 people have recovered.
A total of 567,922 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 523,669 have recovered and 7917 have died.
The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:
651 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 201, Imereti – 288, Kvemo Kartli – 100, Shida Kartli – 150, Guria – 82, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 168, Kakheti – 161, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 80, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 51, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 33.
As of September 7, a total of 1,340,062 vaccinations were administered in Georgia.
