Adjara government approved as Zurab Pataradze confirmed as chairman

The Supreme Council of Adjara has approved the government of Adjara, confirming Zurab Pataradze as chairman along with members of his cabinet following a vote.

Under the decision, Nino Nizharadze has been appointed Minister of Health and Social Protection, Maia Khajishvili as Minister of Education and Sports, Eliso Bolkvadze as Minister of Culture, Denis Salukvadze as Minister of Agriculture, and Ednar Nataridze as Minister of Finance and Economy.

Prior to the vote, Pataradze presented his action plan to lawmakers and answered their questions.

He claimed that all major ongoing projects in the region will continue. He also outlined key priorities, including healthcare, education, sports, culture and tourism development, noting that he and his political team will work toward the region’s continued progress.

Members of the opposition party For Georgia did not take part in the vote to approve the chairman of the Adjara government.
